A few pics from the first annual SoonerCon. Met a few unruly kids, including a rude little Dr. Who. But the mini Kylo Ren stole the show.

Friday of Force for Fun

Here's some pics of R2 at one of the local Toys R Us from Force Fruday midnight opening. Unfortunately is was not the best experience. I'm not a huge TRU shopper, and their handling of our fan group makes me less likely to return to the establishment. I ended up picking up a few small things at Target later that night instead.

Stand Up Comic

There was an Oklahoma droid reunion last Saturday at the Tulsa Comic Expo. Hopefully we will be able to this quite a bit now. 

This was my first con event since Celebration. May have caught the bug. R2 also got a few selfies with some famous vehicles while we were there.

Mandatory Fun

Spent Tuesday evening with Weird Al Yankovic for his Tulsa stop on the Mandatory World Tour. Great time with the 501st jamming out to The Saga Begins. Even had Al sign my back door.

Conductive Metal

R2 made his Tulsa debut Saturday night for the Tulsa Symphony's tribute to John Williams concert. Very cool to hear so much amazing music performed live by a full orchestra, even if it was from backstage. Indiana Jones gave me goosebumps. Wish I had a shot from the audience but I was busy driving, not wanting to fall off the stage.
